The Badfish by WAW

The WAW BadFish is the only handplane (body surfing device) made without any virgin plastic materials.

It has all been made possible combining the efforts of individuals. WAW have created a supply chain that allows us to turn waste into a resource. 

The materials used are collected from Australian beaches by the legends at Eco Barge Clean Seas. Its then taken back to their facility where it is hand sorted, hand washed and shredded with a machine provided by the Plastic Collective.

Working on this brand was pure joy. I was able to have free reign over the design and style of this logo. Focused to a young male-oriented market and made to look at home in a surf shop.
